The abbey is situated on a mountain side at 1350 m above sea level near the village Burgeis in the Vinschgau Valley in the boarder triangel Italy - Svizzerland - Austria. Parking There is an parking space for cars and tour buses along the road to Schlinig, 100 m from the abbey.

Notice for our guests: Please note that the Reschen Pass state road B180 will be temporarily closed between Kajetansbrücke/Pfunds and Nauders from September 2024
until the end of 2026 due to construction work for a rockfall gallery. During the closure periods, we recommend using the detour route through Switzerland to avoid the
affected road sections. This detour via the Engadin Road (B184) and the Martinsbruck Road (B185) takes about 10 minutes longer than the regular route, depending on traffic. A detailed route planner (Kajetansbrücke/Pfunds) for the detour can be found
