St. Stephen

St. Stephen's can only be visited with a guided tour. The cemetery, on the other hand, is open to the public and invites you to linger in silent remembrance.
The small church of St. Stephan with its convent cemetery is located about 10 minutes' walk from the monastery.
In the course of restoration work in the years 2018 - 2020, late Gothic wall paintings from the 15th century came to light in the little church. Furthermore, wall remains from the 5th century were discovered and interesting finds were made, such as a Longobard belt buckle, which is now exhibited in the museum.
