Parking for cars and tour buses along the road for Schlinig, 100 m from the abbey. The abbey can also be reached using pubblic transport. First take the train from Meran to Mals (Vinschgau line), and then Citybus from Mals to Burgeis. the abbey is a 20 minute walk along a marked trail.
The crypt is now only accessible for prayer.
